I am late, as always, but here's wishing you a very happy New Year, I hope that 2011 will bring you what you hope for. Did you have a nice Christmas? We were invited to a "white elephant", it was such a laugh, and I came home with an i-tunes gift card - and a bag full of fortune cookies :D
I had asked Santa for these two Hawk Run Hollow patterns (so you can have a wild guess as to what you'll be seeing on this blog for the next few months... or years...), and the Pinkeep Story was a lovely surprise that Margit sent me, along with the beautiful snowman hearts! :)))
Und Ihr hattet recht - manche Teile sehen wirklich erst schön aus, wenn sie verarbeitet sind. Das Shepherd's Bush-Teilchen habe ich zu einem Kissele genäht, und da gefiel es mir auch wieder.And you were right - some pieces look a lot better once they have been made into something. I have made the Shepherd's Bush ornament into a little cushion and I think it does look a lot nicer now.
Dies ist des Rätsels Lösung: Ich habe mit dem Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow angefangen :DDa ich meine Kreuzchen ja "verkehrt" rum sticke, fange ich von unten an zu sticken, daher ist Block 11 mein erster Block. Ich freu mich schon auf den nächsten Block, aber zuerst muss ich noch die beiden fehlenden Maiskolben fertig sticheln. Und die Schrift. Kann mir jemand verraten, warum der Puter Tom heißt???
And here we come to the solution - I have started stitching Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow :D
I do my crosses the "wrong" way round, that is why I have to start at the bottom (assuming that most stitchers would start at the top), so block 11 is my first block. I am already looking forward to starting on block 12 but I have to finish the corn cobs first. And the writing. Does anyone happen to know why the turkey is called Tom???

Schaumerma, vielleicht werde ich mich bei den anderen Tüchern einklinken, falls ich bis dahin mein "challenge" fertig habe. Aber das wären dann ja 4 GIGANTISCHE Tücher vom HRH was ich über einen Faden zu sticken hätte. Was tust Du mir denn an *heul*? *kicher*

Was für ein schönes Geschenkchen von Margit.
Du hast ja einiges vor mit der HRH Serie. Ich habe vor Jahren mal angefangen mit den Houses, habe aber erst 3 von den 12 Häusern fertig. Irgendwie juckt es mich immer zum Jahresanfang, daran weiterzusticken, aber immer kommt was dazwischen *g*. Bei dir scheint das ja um einiges flotter zu gehen. Viel Spass mit Autumn!
