Birdies

Ich habe (mal wieder...) etwas neues angefangen. Schade, dass man (obwohl ich mehrere Fotos gemacht habe...) die Stofffarbe nicht so schön sehen kann, das ist Zweigart Limone, herrlich quietschgrün :-) Die Vögelchen sind noch nicht fertig, denen fehlen noch ein paar BS und vor allem die Beine. Insgesamt werden es acht Piepmätze, ich hatte gedacht - ein Vogel am Tag, dann noch BS und nähen, und ratzfatz ist das Teil fertig. Ja.. *hust* man kann sich ja mal irren... Die Vögel stammen übrigens aus der Cross Stitcher und sind von Lucie Heaton.
I've started something new (yet again). Shame that the colour of the material doesn't look quite right on the photo, it's Zweigart lime, a lovely bright shade of green. I have yet to do the backstitches round the birds and add their legs. There are eight birds altogether, I had thought I would do one a day, then add the backstitching and do the sewing and I would have this piece finished in no time at all. *cough* yes.. well... maybe not... This pattern is out of the UK Cross Stitcher, a design by Lucie Heaton.
