I've been tagged....

My lovely stitching pal Margit has tagged me. Now I have to share six things about myself...

Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know your entry is up.

Right then, here are six things about me:

1. I still own the very first cross stitched piece I ever did. I stitched it at primary school, and it was a cover for my song book for church. It doesn't quite fit though. My teacher was a Catholic nun and I was the only protestant in class - my song book was a different size and she got the measurements wrong...

2. I LOVE Scotland. But if you've read my previous posts, you'll know that anyway ;-)

3. I used to drive my dad nuts because as a child, I always used to read several books at the same time. I'd have one lying in my bedroom, one in the living-room, one in the dining room...

4. I hate ironing. I am SO glad DH doesn't usually wear shirts....

5. I love doing international cross stitch exchanges. What a great way to meet new stitchers and make new friends. What makes me sad though is that some people don't even let you know that they've received their exchange pieces. I'm always worried about losing things in the post and surely a quick e-mail is not too much bother?

6. Anyone still awake? Oh well, random fact #6: I love playing board games and card games. Unfortunately, I married the one man in the Northern Hemisphere who hates board games with a passion.. and on the few occasions that he does play, he always wins...
